Story : Hasegawa Kodaka recently transfer to St. Chronica's Academy, a Catholic school. Due to his naturally-blonde hair and fierce looking eyes that make him like a Delinquent he find it. hard to make friend in every school he attended. One day he came across his bad-tempered solitary classmate Mikadzuki, Yozora while she's talking to her Air Friend called Tomo. Realizing that they neither have friend they decided the best way for them to improve their situation is to formed a club Neighbors club a club intended to make friend and learn social skill, as classmate who has same situation a them slowly joint the club the will try to build friendship through club activities together, but will they get along?.

Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai a.k.a Haganai is a Harem Story, meaning one protagonist and many heroine the story is narrate and revolved around Hasegawa, Kodaka who offend misunderstood as a delinquent by his classmate making his act to approach and socialize to his classmate a failure, the story about making friends might be common to light novel but as you read deeper in the novel you will find it has it own unique features as well as the characters has their own unique personalities which you will not find in other novel. and as the members of the club turn ordinary social activity into a extraordinary, as the heroines show their interest in the protagonist and fight for his attention Kodaka sunk into a quagmire of trouble and as the story progress the more characters show up and join the trouble in Neighbor Club, i find haganai not just an average harem story and even it has there is a quite number of fan-service haganai still offer interesting story and has its own depth, as i read more volume of haganai i really got more hooked to its story as it get more and more interesting.

for those who love comedy and harem genre i highly recommend this Light novel and even if your not a fan of harem this one is a interesting one to change your view on harem stories.
