high school DXD review

i been planing to review this lighnovel long ago it's just getting out of my head and totally forget it. so today i finally got some time and decide to finally make it.
High school Dxd is a lightnovel series written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero.

the story is about Houdo Issei a perverted second year student of Kuoh Academy a former all-girls recently turned into co-ed highschool he is having a peaceful life then his world suddenly turned upside down when he gets drag in the world of devils after he was killed by his first girlfriend Yuma Amano on his first date which is a Fallen Angel in disguise and was revive later of by Rias Gremory for him to serve as a servant devil, then he's introduce to as new member of Gremory and meets his new Devil companions which is Members of Occult Research Club they are Himejima, Akeno a third year student one of the big breasted Onee-sama, Toujo, Koneko a first year studend and popular mascot character for being Loli,  Yuto, Kiba popular among the girls as "prince" and finally the club president and his Master Rias Gremory third years student both popular among boys and girls and one of the two Great Onee-sama together with Akeno, he's introduce to the world of devil their work as devil and responsibilities as new a servant of the Gremory familly, he also introduce to the conflict between the devil, fallen angels, angels which is servants of God

the story is quite crazy having a protagonist which is obsess with Oppai(breast) and he likes them big, he also plan to make a harem when he became a devil. one of the unique features of the series is the rating game and evil piece which created by Ajuka Beelzebub to helps replenish the number of devil perish during the great war using evil pieces a noble devil can participate in the rating game is base on the board game chess, Having Rias as their Master as the "King" Akeno as the "Queen" Koneko as the "Rook" Kiba as "Knight" and Issei as "Pawn" they are called Evil piece they play like the game of chess in the Rating game against other Nobel families

Evil Piece

King - High-Class Devils with a peerage are given the King Piece

Queen - Queens possess all the characteristics of Rooks, Knights, and Bishops, making them the most balanced piece as well as the most powerful.

Rook - Rooks gain superhuman strength, leading to high offense and defense. However, they are not very quick, and can get beaten easily by a high-speed opponent

Knight - Knights gain increased speed and mobility, enabling them to perform high-speed attacks and maneuvers. However, their main weakness is their low defense, making them vulnerable to powerful attacks if they are not careful. Another weakness among knights are their legs; if their legs are injured, their mobility is greatly reduced.

Bishops - Bishops gain enhanced magical abilities which they can use to conjure up a multitude of spells (offensive, healing, etc.). However, more powerful spells consume most of their magical power, which takes a long time to regain, forcing them to use their power carefully or risk becoming vulnerable to physical attacks.

Pawn - The traits of Pawns is the ability to promote into a Queen, Rook, Knight, or Bishop in enemy territory or they can be promoted with the permission of the King.

the story offers a lots of comedy and ecchi scenes and actions. it's focus on protagonist Issei on his ambition to become a harem king by being promoted to a high class devil. and his obsession in Oppai due to that the series really have lots of ecchi and crazy thing making it fun to read but because of it's ecchi nature i may be embarrassing to read by younger readers.
the series has lots Biblical references due to the story revolves in a three way conflict between Angel,Devils and Fallen Angel and some other mythologies in the latter volumes.

i really did enjoy reading this series. having  ecchi, comedy, action, magics and romance in it i one hell of a crazy series i'm sure readers will surely likes it.
